The panel discussion was led by CR Editor Eliza Williams, in collaboration with Photo Agency Studio PI, and included Rebecca Swift, Global Director of Creative Insights at Getty Images, photographer Chantel King, and Sachini Imbuldeniya, founder and CEO of Studio PI.

The event was sparked by the intense period of change the photography industry has seen recently as the demand for new voices and more diversity has led major institutions and commissioners to rethink how they work.

As the conversation progressed, the panel discussed the diversity in the industry, how the pandemic has affected the type of work being produced, and advice on navigating the industry – including how to successfully network and present your work and whether you should work for free.
