Why we founded Neil Patel Digital
Neil Patel's foray into digital marketing began with his blog. Although Neil's early experience was more entrepreneurship than marketing, he quickly learned that the companies he founded were more successful when he led marketing strategy. As Neil learned tips, tricks, and best practices, he decided to share what he'd learned on a blog to help other companies achieve similar levels of success.
As time went on, it became clear that the Neil Patel blog was reaching audiences well beyond the United States. Traffic to Neil's extensive collection of content indicated that people in countries around the world were reading the articles. It didn't take long before it became clear that companies wanted help in Brazil, India, Australia and beyond.
Additionally, it turned out that some of Neil Patel's audience wanted more than just resources and guidance. They wanted to work with an agency that could offer the services of a large company with the personal touch of a boutique. This led to the creation of a number of Neil Patel agencies in the US and around the world.

History of NP Digital
The history of NP Digital goes back to when Neil Patel founded his first company at the age of 16. After borrowing money from his parents to pay a marketing agency to grow his business, Neil was soon without results … and without money. It was a short lesson that motivated Neil to learn all about marketing to do it himself in the future.
Neil later realized how many companies were in the same position as him and began creating content to help them. He developed a sizable following of people interested in learning all about marketing. It didn't take long for people to ask for more. The content was valuable, but many business owners didn't have the time or the right talent on their teams to implement all of the advice Neil had given.
At the end of 2017, NP Digital was born, ready to offer digital marketing services at the highest level.

NP Digital has seen impressive growth, tripling sales in recent years. Our team size has also tripled during this time and currently consists of around 70 people. Originally based in San Diego, we've also opened an office in Chicago and we're seeing further expansion.
What is driving growth? Jeff Johnson, president of NP Digital, says the agency was built with a philosophy to "build the team on how we need to run and select talent that matches the shape of the agency we wanted to build." He says that consumers today control the market and that getting the right marketing messages across at what they refer to as "the crucial moments" is critical.
Our approach is different from traditional marketing agencies. Communication and collaboration help us move forward quickly and are important factors in our success.
As an agency, we have to be able to change at short notice and be flexible and nimble enough to always be one step ahead of the changes for our customers. Our management team consists of people who embrace this idea.

Neil's vision has always been to help businesses of all sizes, but he's passionate about helping small businesses grow through marketing. When our agency started we worked with mostly larger clients. We quickly learned that we cannot serve most of the people who ask for help because the investment is out of budget. We needed a better solution that would allow us to help more people and meet them at their level.
In January 2019, we launched a small business branch of NP Digital to serve these smaller businesses. If you're a small business, your marketing budget is likely much smaller than that of a Fortune 500 company. However, the results are just as important to you.

We have aggressive goals for our Brazilian office, not just because of past success, but because of all the opportunities we see here. Changes in the market are driving many companies online faster than in previous years.
