The brand new option to chat together with your guests
Marketing has developed into an omnichannel approach. This means that you can no longer find just one channel to be successful.
In the past, companies like Facebook grew through a channel to billion dollar companies.
Facebook used email to grow and they invited all of your contacts to Facebook.

Yelp was similar too. They have become a multi-million dollar business through one channel … SEO.

Dropbox grew through social media. If you've tweeted about Dropbox, you'll get more space.

These marketing approaches have worked well with all of these known ones
Company, but what's wrong with them?
The law of crappy click-throughs
What worked for Facebook, Yelp, and Dropbox were all great strategies, but over time, all good marketing channels became saturated and no longer worked as before.
As Andrew Chen puts it, it works first
and then not.
It's really that simple. Sure, these channels can still
Drive the traffic and you always will, but if people get used to them, they won't work
also.
Just look at this picture below.

Can you guess what that is?
That was the first advertising banner. AT & T created this banner and placed it on HotWired.com in 1994. And here's what's really crazy … of all the people who saw it, a whopping 44% clicked on it.
Just remember … this banner ad had a click rate of 44%.
We all agree that this is not an amazing banner or design
It's just that it was new and novel at the time, so it generated huge amounts
of clicks.
Just as SEO used to be more effective or paid ads were cheaper and got a higher ROI or recommendation marketing was much more effective. There are many single-channel case studies that have worked in the past.
This also does not mean that one of these channels is not working
just means that they don't work as well as they used to.
How do you survive in a competitive market?
They take an omnichannel approach. You have no choice but to use all marketing channels.
Yes, they will be competitive and saturated, but they still are
Job.
It's a game of paper cuts … Paper cuts are small and don't do much damage. However, if you have tons of these little paper cuts, they add up and can do damage.
This also applies to your marketing. If you add up all of these channels that have a low ROI, you end up with a large number. However, if you look at each channel individually, the results are not that sexy. But when you combine them, it looks good.

What more do you check, your text messages or your email
Inbox?
I bet you're going to say text messages because you're watching this
Your phone more often than signing in to your email inbox.
But here's an interesting statistic for you … did you know?
over 6
Billions of SMS are sent every day?
Can you imagine how many emails are sent every day?
269
Billion!
That's a big difference.
And do you know how many people visit Facebook every day?
1.62
Billion.
Now it's not about sharing these statistics
Say email is better than text. Or that Facebook is not as valuable as
text.
It's more like showing you that all of them are massive channels
that people use every day.
Why shouldn't you try to use them all?
And you can easily do this using free chat marketing tools like Manychat, which you can use to communicate with your visitors using text messaging, email marketing, and Facebook Messenger.
After you've created your Manychat account, here's how to set it up. They have tons of very helpful videos that teach you how to set up Facebook Messenger bots and connect your Facebook page so you can send messages, for example.
After all of them are set up, we want you to use the following templates for your business as I know they will convert …
Templates that convert
My team and I have tested countless different messages
for all channels such as email, messenger and SMS.
Here are the ones who worked best for us …
SMS templates
My favorite text message to send someone is:
(First name)?
If someone sends you a text with only your first name and a "?" How's it going? You will probably answer with … "Who is that?".
Once someone answers who this is, our sales reps are usually there
Reply with …
This is John from Neil Patel's team. I just wanted to see if you have any questions or if we can help you with anything.
It is simple and works well and has increased our sales
by 4.69%.
Another one that works well is a "Flash Sales" text message …
Flash Sale: All products on (your website) are (x)% cheaper for the next 24 hours. (Insert URL)
This works very well during the holidays or at any time
would like to do a doctorate. Depending on the size of the company and how
If your list is large, you will usually see an additional 2 to 3% of sales for
this month.
And my favorite text campaign is …
Check out this new blog post (blog post subject) (URL)
An example would be… ”Check out this new blog post on doubling
Your SEO Traffic (URL) ”
When I send SMS notifications for new posts, traffic to this blog post usually increases by another 4%.
Email templates
You are probably familiar with this email template
it from me every week. 😉
Subject: How to generate leads when you have little or no traffic
If you have a lot of traffic, generating leads is easy.
But what if you have a new website or one with little to no traffic?
What if you don't have money for paid ads?
What should you do?
Well, there is a solution. How to generate leads when you have no traffic.
Cheers,
Neil Patel
I send an email every Tuesday and Saturday that looks like
so similar.
It is a simple text-based email, with the subject line being the title of your blog post and the text of the email indicating a problem and a solution. The solution is a link to the blog post.
To give you a rough idea: I received 29% to 33% opening rates and 4% to 7% click rates with this email format.
And if you sell info products through webinars, there are 8 types of emails that I use to generate sales (read this post if you want to learn how you can make good money selling info products):
- Invite sequence – This is a series
of emails inviting people to watch your webinar. (Here
are my invitation emails) - indoctrination – You have to build one
Connection with people. People tend to convert when they know more
about you and trust you. (Here
are my indoctrination emails) - No performances – Just because someone
Sign in to watch your webinar. This does not mean that they will participate. For each
If you don't participate, you want to email them and get them to watch the replay.
(Here
are my no-show emails) - Encore – Not everyone will watch
Your entire webinar. If they don't stick to the end, they won't see your offer.
You want some emails that speed up playback. (here are mine
Adding emails) - Opposition officers – There is a
A handful of reasons someone might not buy. You want to answer each of these questions
Objections via email. (Here
are my objections to the opposition officer) - Countdown sequence – You will want it
Close your course. Let people know that they only have a few days left
Buying is a really effective way to generate sales. These emails are approximate
make up 1/3 to half of your sales. (Here
are my countdown emails) - Last chance email – on the last day
You want to send a couple of emails so people know it's nearing completion. (Here
are my last random emails) - Free trial offer – the majority of
People won't buy from you. The last chance free trial offer is great
Way to generate around 15% more sales. (Here
are my free test emails)
If you sell products, there are three main emails that I think work well. The first 2 are for the abandonment of the car.
Subject: Did you forget something?
We noticed that you left something behind. Don't worry, we have saved the items in your shopping cart so that you can complete your purchase easily.
(Insert picture of products)
CTA key: Back to shopping cart
This simple cancel email typically increases sales by 1.73%. I know it's not a lot, but it's just about the paper cuts, as I mentioned above. 😉
Subject: Are you still thinking about it?
If you can't decide whether (insert product name) is right for you, here are some of the advantages:
(Insert benefit 1)
(Insert advantage 2)
(Insert benefit 3)
(Insert advantage 4)
(Insert advantage 5)
(Insert advantage 6)
So what are you waiting for? With our 30-day money back guarantee, you have nothing to lose.
CTA: Complete my purchase
On average, this email has given our customers an increase of
1.44% in sales.
Subject: Who doesn't love a 15% discount?
Discover new products (the type of products you sell) that will help you (insert benefits).
The sale ends at (insert date and time).
CTA: Request my discount
With the discount / coupon code email, we found that the results are very different. The bigger the discount, the more sales you usually get. The biggest gains are when companies offer a discount of over 30% or more.
Facebook messenger templates
Unlike email and text, you can't just send messages to people
on Facebook Messenger and do what you want. There
are rules …
- You can send a message to a subscriber within the last 24 hours after your last interaction.
- You can send promotional material within this 24 hour period.
- At the end of the 24 hours, messages must include one of these 4 tags: confirmed event update, post-purchase update, account update, or a human agent.
- Users who register to receive messages after 24 hours can of course also send them by message.
For templates that work because Facebook is constantly changing messenger rules, follow these templates for Manychat as they are constantly changing based on real-time data about what works or what doesn't.
Conclusion
You have no choice but to choose an omnichannel approach
Your marketing.
Sure, all the good channels will get crowded at some point and the click rates will decrease over time, but if you target all the main channels, the marginal gains add up.
And the easiest way to start omnichannel is through chat. I know you probably use email, but I bet you don't use text messaging or even Facebook Messenger bots. And I bet you don't use push notifications either.
How many marketing channels do you use?
