The newest marketing campaign from KFC exhibits followers experiencing rooster happiness
Mutter's latest campaign for KFC is aimed at fans and includes a new poster campaign as well as a commercial featuring some of the brand's most passionate supporters
KFC's latest posters follow last year's unfortunate campaign that marks the return of the brand's Finger Lickin 'Good slogan, quickly pulled after the coronavirus pandemic hit.
As with these posters, the new set relies on bold and simple photography and minimal text. This time around, focusing on the passion biting into a piece of KFC chicken can lead to it.
The posters are accompanied by an energetic TV commercial that shows a range of scenarios in which fans of the brand went to extremes to demonstrate their love. These include KFC tattoos, a KFC-themed wedding, and even a reference to the time when (slightly insane) fans called the police when the KFC stores ran out of chicken.
Based on the Barry White classic "You are the first, the last, my everything", the spot also sees a temporary return of "Finger Lickin 'Good" – arguably one of the most important symbols with which Great Britain is at the Reopening of "The" country feels safe after the last lockdown.
"No other brand conjures up this level of admiration, so it was time to combine everything into a feel-good package," says Hermeti Balarin, partner at Mother, about the campaign. "Here's for the fans."
