A brand new coaching program is in search of aspiring artistic entrepreneurs

The new five-week virtual mentoring program Future Startup Now Founders is now open for applications and offers space for 25 aspiring entrepreneurs in London between the ages of 18 and 24.

The program is part of the Mayor of London's broader digital talent program and is based on a collaboration between the Hustle Crew career community and Create Jobs, a London-based employability program that helps young people find a way into the creative and To find digital industry.

Future Startup Now Founders seeks to address the inequality between start-ups and in the technology and digital space in general by making the program available to people who are under-represented in these areas.

The program is therefore open to people with a black, Asian or ethnic background, women, deaf or disabled people, people within the LGBTQ + community, neurodiverse people and people with a disadvantaged socio-economic background. The program is also open to applicants who have no formal educational qualifications.

The training is aimed at people who have already started developing a business idea and includes various elements to take them to the next level, including practical skills such as product development, community engagement, user research and MVP (minimum viable) tests Product). It also covers some of the more detailed aspects of starting a business, including start-up methodology, forecasting, finance law, and compliance.

The training is conducted by industry experts from across the digital, technical and creative landscape, including employees from Snapchat, the technical innovation agency Digital Catapult, Women Who Code, the video-based magazine GUAP, the youth talent network Supa and others.

After completing the training, the 25 participants have the opportunity to present their business ideas. Ten participants will receive £ 5,000 technology and hardware grants to get their businesses up and running.
