Eaze's refreshed branding is a defiant celebration of hashish
Born & Bred studio in San Francisco designed an updated identity for the Cali weed company Eaze that is tapping into the best bits of cannabis culture
Launched in 2014, Eaze offers an online marketplace that gives buyers legal access to cannabis as well as on-demand deliveries. Born & Bred's redesign includes a subtle makeover of the blue and white Eaze logo, as well as a flexible grid system that allows the brand to easily create a range of ads with a consistent style.
George De & # 39; Ath, co-founder and chief creative officer of the San Francisco studio, says the brand update allowed Eaze to "celebrate the weed culture," and that it actually picks up on that culture directly, without resorting to clichés and freshness Use color illustrations and rectilinear copy. Eazes bags also outrageously celebrate cannabis iconography with swirling, clashing patterns and images of bongs and spliffs.

The rebranding reflects the shift in attitudes towards cannabis, says Sheena Shiravi, vice president of marketing at Eaze, who comments that the brand is operating in a different market today than it was a few years ago as cannabis reaches "a whole new level of normalization."
The refreshed identity should reflect this and “where this magical plant will lead us in the future”.
