How live shows for Covid-19 grew to become digital

We spoke to Kate Moross and Rob Sinclair about how we're bringing the concert experience for Kylie Minogue's latest Infinite Disco show to people's homes, and how everything from streams to video games is changing our perception of what live music can be like

Towards the end of 2020, most music lovers would likely agree that it feels like an eternity as they see the sweaty swarm of other human bodies at one gig or experience the creative potential of the set to take them into the world of their favorite artist . While various fundraisers have helped support the music industry, artists and venue owners will continue to have a losing battle as long as social distancing restrictions and curfews remain.

One glimmer of hope amid the lack of live music is the number of artists turning to the virtual world to connect with their fans. At the start of the pandemic, Twitch, Instagram and TikTok filled a void with their live streaming capabilities, but quickly turned into a slew of innovative and fun virtual concerts that bring the experience of live music to people's homes.
