Masked illustrations welcome patrons to European procuring facilities
Face masks play an important role in this Sid Lee Paris campaign. The reopening of the European shopping centers is marked with cheerful illustrations
We Are Open was developed for the mall operator Klepierre, who owns shopping centers in countries across Europe. It should convey "open-mindedness and hospitality" as well as the joy of returning to a piece of normalcy.
Parisian artist Séverine Assous created the illustrations that show some classic aspects of retail life, including security guards and check-out assistants with barcode scanners. In particular, each person wears a face covering – as a reminder that we all still have to take precautions.

The We Are Open campaign is shown in shopping centers in 13 countries and has a positive impact on current events.
