New trailer for the BBC celebrates the station's creativity
Television has become an important entertainment, community, and information asset over the past year while we have all been confined to our homes. If we are locked in again in the UK it will undoubtedly continue to provide the much needed food to guide us through the dark winter months.
In recognition of this and its general place in our culture, the BBC has released a trailer promoting its merchandise and featuring clips from Eastenders to I May Destroy You and Strictly Come Dancing to CBeebies.
The film is essentially one of its biggest hits, but it's a brilliantly edited one, all tied together with a number of clever twists on the BBC acronym, a lovely guy, and a soundtrack of Ronette's & # 39; Be My Baby.
"This film is a joyful celebration of the diversity, talent, creativity, breadth and value that the BBC brings to the nation," said Helen Rhodes, ECD of BBC Creative who created the spot. “The use of these three letters, which mean so much to so many people, shows the amazing content we offer and expresses our ability to influence culture and unite a nation. Not bad for an organization nearly 100 years old. "
