The Story Café branding celebrates individuals's love for a very good story

Coffee comes with its own stories at this Sydney cafe that turns napkins, wrappers, receipts and cups into mini-narrative homes

For The People designed the branding for the story café, which, according to studio founder Jason Little, "respects the legacy of storytelling" through a variety of narrative forms such as scripts, haikus and short stories.

“Each point of interaction becomes a starting point for a new type of story,” he explains. "For example, a conversation about a flat white could turn into a love affair, or a croissant could become an estimated price to argue about."

The stories, created by For The People writers Mat Groom and Daniel St Vincent, accompany a palette of pastel pinks and yellows contrasted by darker blues, browns, and reds.

The studio also designed a horned monster mascot to watch over the café – apparently representative of the "great unknown of the stories that have yet to be told".
