Ubersuggest Chrome Extension: The Final Hyperlink Construct Device
Over the next several months, you will see a lot of updates in Ubersuggest, including new features.
However, before I dive into what I'm about to release, let's talk about the new Chrome extension first.
If you haven't installed it already, make sure you do it now.
No more Neil's face
The biggest complaint we got about the extension was "my face" in search results.
You know, that speech bubble that looked something like this …
So I removed it.
I know you don't like it based on the reviews so I tried to keep it on as long as possible as it is branding.
Indirectly, it keeps me and my agency at the forefront that hopefully it would boost business.
Link building
You may have noticed that there is a small U icon in your browser bar after installing the extension.
If you don't see it, just click the extension icon.
And then click on pin next to Ubersuggest …
Now whenever you visit a website (other than Google) you can click the "U" to view data.
What is new, however, is that we have added link data. So when you click on "Backlinks" you will see link data on every website.
You can see the domain score (our authority version), the number of backlinks, referring domains, and the organic monthly traffic a website receives.
You can even see a graph of link growth (or decline) over time.
And if you scroll down you'll see even more metrics …
The table above shows how many new and lost links you are getting every day.
Below that, you'll see a list of links pointing to a specific website. You can then search for a specific link using the search box or use the filter options.
Keyword gaps
I know I mentioned a while ago that I'm releasing a feature that shows competitive domains and gives you an overview of the keywords that your competition is for that you don't have.
This way you can find more options when you want more traffic.
That’s coming out soon. We're about a month away from release. 🙂
But that's not all
The biggest thing my team and I have worked on is data quality.
From the fresher link index to the even larger link index.
Or if you put in a url it would be great to have even more accurate traffic estimates.
You'll see a dramatic improvement by the end of the year. It's our greatest focus.
And then comes a faster application
The last thing on our roadmap this year is the speed improvement.
We have so much data in Ubersuggest that sometimes reports take longer to load than you'd like.
We've redesigned our code which should fix this soon. Reports load faster now. This is very important when using Ubersuggest on a mobile device.
Conclusion
Hope you try the new Ubersuggest extension. It's easy to use and has more free data than any other Chrome extension.
Aside from the Link feature, there will also be some other Chrome extension features that we'll be adding soon, but I have to save something as a surprise. 😉
Plus, there are a few other features that you'll also see in the Ubersuggest app, which is coming out this year, that I also didn't mention above.
